Oh, Traffic Bot Pro. Where to begin with this piece of software? First of all, it’s pretty well impossible to track down. The trafficbotpro.com website doesn’t exist, is deindexed in Google and is missing from the Internet Archive, though snapshots have been taken that won’t display. Strike number one.
When you run a search looking for Traffic Bot Pro, what you’ll find are three things.
- Results that just use the words “traffic bot,” of which there are many.
- Results that lead to people selling traffic from Traffic Bot Pro
- Results that lead to videos demonstrating the software (occasionally under other names) with links to their pages where they sell the bot traffic themselves.
So, if you’ve ever wanted to buy cheap traffic from Fiverr, or its spinoffs Sevenerr or Fourerr, you can certainly do so. Some of these sellers run the program on your behalf; some of them give you the software with video instructions and let you fend for yourself. Thin, low quality affiliate posts? That’s strike number two.
Strike number three you can see in this video. You can see what is labeled as “traffic bot pro” turns out to be TrafficTwister, though the name hardly matters. Any of a thousand different programs with vaguely similar names masquerade under the Traffic Bot Pro banner.
Just looking at the application, a smart marketer will be seeing red from all the warning signs. Just look at the options:
- How many threads? Aka how many instances of the bot will be running concurrently, delivering hits to the target website.
- Proxy list? Obviously the bot has to pretend to be coming from all sorts of different IP addresses, otherwise the hits would be recorded as single visits rather than dozens or hundreds of visits per hour.
- Time on site? The traffic is coming from a bot, so the bot needs to be told how long to stay on the site.
All in all, it’s very obvious what you’re getting: a program that routes through a proxy and delivers a hit to a website. I ask you; what good is it?

What’s the Point of Traffic Bot Pro?
TBP, or any of the billion interchangeable variations, all operate in the same simple manner. They’re software, pretending to be people, loading websites. This does a few things. First, it drains server resources sending requests and loading pages. Second, it drains the client’s PC resources and bandwidth loading the pages. Third, it increases hit counts in Webmaster Tools. Fourth, it could be loading ads that pay per the pageview, allowing the site owner to make a penny or two every thousand visits.
So what’s the point? Why bother using Traffic Bot Pro? You know off the bat that all of the traffic you get is coming from a piece of software, and not a particularly advanced piece of software at that. It’s barely one step above sitting on the site and hitting F5 to refresh your browser.
The problem with Traffic Bot Pro and its variants, for a serious marketer, is one of visit value. When you’re performing SEO, social advertising, PPC or anything else, your goal is to attract people to your site. Not traffic, people. You want real people visiting your site, because real people have interests, and you can cater to those interests. In particular, you can develop a product – an app, an ebook, a product sold through an affiliate link – and you can sell that product.
One legitimate $5 ebook sale would earn you more in a minute than Traffic Bot Pro refreshing a page with pay-per-view ads would in a month. Sure, it takes a little bit of effort beyond just pumping money into a Fiverr gig, but anything worth doing is worth doing right, isn’t it?
The moral of the story is, unless you’re intent on making pennies through low-quality websites with low-quality ads, you should avoid any form of traffic that includes the word “bot” anywhere near it.
